I have always loved monogrammed initials. And now that it is the new craze I'm in heaven. You can literally get anything monogrammed these days.
While decorating Nicolette's room I decided I wanted to do a monogram over her crib. In Giada's room I have framed letters to spell out her name. It's a short name so it was easy. Nicolette on the other hand.....too many letters, it would consume the whole wall. And this way the girls could be different.
I went on Etsy, you can find everything there, and found this Monogram company that makes them out of wood and in all sizes.
Once I received it I gave it a few coats of Rustoleum hammered silver spray paint from Home Depot. I hung it on the wall with the heavy duty double sided hanging tape. And voila!!!

I know the picture is a little low. But you can see it's not there. I wasn't able to find a bigger picture of the wall, this was pre-blog days. This picture was actually taken after I received her rug for her room. So does that make this a double Throwback Thursday??
And the finished product! Excuse the messy haired babe. She had just woken up for the morning. This was taken a few months ago. Wow how her hair has grown fast!!
Have a great weekend!!
